Description

The Unit for Housing and Support, BOOST, is led by a unit manager and two group leaders. The unit includes Traststigen, which is a psychiatric residence for adults with psychiatric disabilities, Henjahemmet which is a residence for adults with addiction issues, Kastanjegården support housing for youth aged 16–20, and Kastanjegården HVB for youth aged 13–20.

We are now looking for a housing supporter to work at Traststigen.

Traststigen's psychiatric residence is located in Gislaved and is a service residence with 12 places. We accept residents according to decisions from both LSS and SoL.

Job Responsibilities

You will support, motivate, and coach individuals to create a functioning, meaningful, and independent everyday life. Your work includes supporting the individual based on their conditions and abilities.

You will collaborate with several different professions to ensure good and qualitative care. An important part of your work is to document in the operational system Combine, which means that you continuously update implementation plans, journal notes, and ensure that all documentation is correct and current.

At Traststigen, we handle a large amount of medication, which is why delegation of health and medical care measures is also included in your assignment.

It is important that you have a low-affect and good approach as well as an attitude that creates trust and security for the individuals.

Qualifications

Care and nursing program with a focus on psychiatry, behavioral scientist, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, and we are looking for someone who is secure, attentive, humble, stress-resistant, and has a good demeanor.

We would like you to have previous experience working with individuals who have extensive mental health issues.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation.

We would like you to have knowledge of motivational interviewing and low-affect approaches. Your membership needs to include the ability to collaborate and participate in both your own and the organization's development. With us, this means that you have good cooperation with your manager and colleagues, both in your own workplace and within other parts of the municipal group. You take responsibility for being involved in operational issues and are solution-oriented.

To ensure safety for our users, a background check is conducted according to law (2026:43 – the law on background checks for work in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities). The candidate offered employment must present an extract from the criminal and suspicion register before employment can begin.
